PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITYTo facilitate and implement plans focused on hiring, developing, motivating and retaining the best talents within the organisation.Advising on general administrative mattersAssisting in the general administration of the UnionTaking responsibility for administrative development planningTo oversee HR, Facilities, Security and Transport units in order to effectively support AUPCTRE’s core operations.Provide support for the planning and forecasting of AUPCTRE’s workforce requirements, including the tracking and monitoring of the organisation structure and manning levels Oversee the design, implementation and effective monitoring of appropriate employee reward strategies, policies and programs. Ensure the implementation of effective performance and career management strategies that would help sustain a performance driven cultureIntervene and assist in resolving disciplinary cases, appeals and related HR issues.Foster conducive working climate by building and maintaining proactive relationships with employee/employer. Develop policies and coordinate implementation of effective transport servicesOversee the management of relationships with third-party providers of any service needed by the unionAct on behalf of, and perform and other duties that may be assigned by GS.
